They will be interested in anything you are doing and can learn from being a part of your day so give them their own playthings in the kitchen or near the laundry and they can be a part of it all. They can also learn to get dressed, wash hands, and brush hair and teeth \u2013 all with your help.<\/p>\n<p>Most\u00a0children at this age can<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take off their own clothing \u2013 unzip, unsnap and smile!<\/li>\n<li>Run.<\/li>\n<li>Walk up steps.<\/li>\n<li>Pretend to feed a doll.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your child may be ready to<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash and dry their own hands.<\/li>\n<li>Throw a ball overhand.<\/li>\n<li>Say 20 words and start combining words \u2013 now you&#8217;ll hear a lot more of what they are thinking \u2013 &#8220;want blanket!&#8221;, &#8220;want mama!&#8221; etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Remember, all children develop at their own rate. So, if your little one isn&#8217;t doing all of these things just yet, you&#8217;ll likely see them soon.
